POSTGRADUATE ADMISSIONS 2026-27
Welcome to the M.Sc. Program in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB) at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology. Our program offers a total of 25 seats, and students can secure admission through two distinct streams:
Stream 1: For those who qualify Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) - CUET (PG) 2026 – 15 seats
Stream 2: For those who qualify Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026 - 10 seats
Admission to the M.Sc. program is based on a merit-based selection process aligned with the university's reservation policy. The number of seats may vary as per university rules. Supernumerary seats will be as per University of Delhi norms. Following are the seat matrix offerings for the new PG Academic Session 2026-27:

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade (for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category applicants) and 45% marks or equivalent grade (for SC/ST category applicants)
- For Stream 1: Applicant must have qualified SCQP07(Botany) or SCQP17(Life Sciences) paper of CUET (PG) 2026
- For Stream 2: Applicant must have qualified DBT GAT-B 2026
Admission Process:
- If you meet the minimum eligibility criteria for admission, please initiate the registration process via the Common Seat Allocation System Post-Graduate (CSAS-PG) 2026-27.
- Applicants must regularly visit their individual dashboard of the CSAS(PG) 2026-27 portal and University of Delhi Admission Portal for updates on PG Admissions 2026-27.
